England skipper Jos Buttler has commented on India hosting all their matches at the same ground for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. India, who denied travelling to the host nation Pakistan, are hosting all their matches at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Dubai wickets have been favoring India's spinners, making them better off in the tournament. Buttler Refers to It as a 'Unique Tournament' Responding to a question on India playing at a single venue, Buttler termed it a "unique tournament" because one team is playing away from the host nation. However, he clarified that he is not paying attention to that and is only concerned about England's next match against Afghanistan. During a press meet ahead of the match against Afghanistan, Jos Buttler said: "Not really. I think it's a unique tournament already, isn't it, with being hosted here with one team playing in a different place but that's not something I'm sort of worried too much about at the moment. I've got all my focus on preparing well tonight and our game tomorrow." Afghanistan had previously stunned England during the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup, and they will look to repeat that upset. Both the teams are coming into this match after facing defeats in their last respective matches and hence, this game will be a do-or-die game for both the teams.
