A father-son combination in club cricket in England stole the headlines, putting on just four runs off 208 balls. Opener Ian Bestwick was the talk of the town as he did not score a single run facing 137 deliveries. On the other hand, his son Thomas Bestwick scored only four runs from 71 balls, coming courtesy of a boundary. This freak incident happened in a match played between Mickleover 3rd XI and Darley Abbey Cricket Club 4th XI. In the match, Mickleover made 271/4 and set a target. Darley Abbey Cricket Club 4th XI made 4 early wickets in its inning, so the father-son started batting defensively and stopped playing big shots. Of the six Darley batters, only two were single-figure scorers and neither reached double figures. Even more interestingly, extras top-scored with 9. After the match, the 48-year-old Ian Bestwick was quoted by BBC Radio Derby saying: "It's gone round the world. It has been mentioned in Australia, Pakistan, and Qatar. I have had friend requests from around the globe." Predictably, the match ended in a draw, but Mickleover 3rd XI took more points due to the game rules. Both teams, however, stay in the bottom half of the points table. Also Read | 10 Lesser-Known Facts About MS Dhoni
