He further added: "You share, you know, all kinds of queries, questions. So there’s a lot of back and forth that happens and also the fact that, you know, we worked very closely in terms of the leadership for the team,” said Kohli. There’s a trust factor that builds in terms of you can rely on each other, do the job for the team. We have definitely enjoyed our time playing together for so long for India," he said. Kohli also took a moment to reflect on how far they’ve come and how they have managed to represent the country for over 15 years. “We were able to make our careers that long because when we were young, as I said, it was not certain that we were going to end up playing for 15 years for India. The journey was so long and consistent. So yeah, very, very, very grateful and very happy for all the memories, all the moments that we’ve shared and continue to do so," he said. Virat Kohli made his India debut in 2008, while Rohit Sharma debuted in 2007. Both will be in action for their respective franchises on Monday.
