Trent Boult kept the splendid run in IPL 2025 alive with another stellar performance for Mumbai Indians versus Rajasthan Royals. At the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Boult excelled with the new ball and in the death overs. Earlier, Mumbai Indians set an intimidating target of 217 runs. They began their bowling energetically, buoyed by a sharp spell from Boult. The first over by Rajasthan’s opener Yashasvi Jaiswal saw Boult being smashed for two line sixes in the second-over first and third balls, after which he came roaring back to form. On the fourth ball, he shortened the length and delivered it at 139.6 km/h. Jaiswal lunged at what he deemed another big hit and missed as his stumps were uprooted. Boult's fierce reaction in celebration seemed to surprise many, as he usually doesn't show so much emotion. This time, he seemed pumped up and even gave a send-off to the batter.
