Travis Head once again was the standout and achieved a huge milestone. He has done this in 50 Test matches, displaying how crucial he is to the success of Australia. In this match, he scored two fifties, 59 in the first innings and 61 in the second, as Australia won by 159 runs. Having received this award, Head tops the list for most Match awards in WTC. He is followed by England's Joe Root and Ben Stokes, who have five each. Head's 59 saved them from being out of the game. West Indies responded with 190. Australia went on to post 310 in their second innings, with Head once again leading with 61. The bowlers did the remaining work, bowling West Indies out for a mere 141. Josh Hazlewood claimed 5 wickets for 43 runs to wrap the game up in a single session on Day 3.
