Well, the reasons are not clear, but fans are speculating that it might be the trade rumors that have affected the players. Notably, the Rajasthan Royals skipper, Sanju Samson, is desperate to be traded, and the Rajasthan Royals are giving impossible choices to teams. One such was given to Chennai Super Kings, where they wanted Ravindra Jadeja and either the Sri Lankan star Matheesha Pathirana or the Englishman Sam Curran. Even though nothing has been finalized, both Jads and Pathirana vanishing from Instagram has created speculation. As per claims, Chennai Super Kings is also looking to add Washington Sundar from Gujarat Titans to fill the void of the all-rounder spinner that has been created after Ravichandran Ashwin hung up his boots. Both Ravindra Jadeja and Sanju Samson carry an equal valuation of ₹18 crore, making this a rare instance of a like-for-like trade in terms of market value and star stature. Fresh updates suggest that Chennai Super Kings might consider offering Jadeja along with either Sam Curran or Matheesha Pathirana in exchange for Samson. However, CSK reportedly believes Jadeja alone is a fair swap for the Royals’ skipper. Rajasthan Royals’ owner Manoj Badale is said to be directly monitoring the negotiations in Mumbai, while the Chennai management has already held discussions with Jadeja about the potential transfer. CSK’s management is determined to treat the situation with full respect toward their long-serving player, who has been associated with the franchise since 2012. Meanwhile, reports claim that Rajasthan Royals have also reached out to other teams, including Sunrisers Hyderabad, Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, and Kolkata Knight Riders, though none have shown significant interest so far.
