A dramatic toss went on to be the center of attention on social media after the decision of the toss to be re-done became the main talking point, with some of the fans questioned the toss being conducted twice. During the first toss, the captain of Rajasthan Royals, Riyan Parag had called "heads" but the toss fell on tails. Nonetheless, the match referee Prakash Bhatt claimed that he didn't clearly hear the call and declared that the toss would be done again. On the second attempt, the coin falls on Rajasthan Royals favor giving the opposition side the opportunity to bat first in a must-win knockout match.
