Anaya Bangar, the daughter of Sanjay Bangar, the ex-batting coach of the Indian national team, has shared some not-so-pleasant experiences with the cricketers. In a recent interview with Lallantop, Anaya shared some horrifying experiences with many of the senior players as well. In the interview, Anaya shared that several cricketers have caused harassment, asking for "nude" photographs while undergoing her hormone treatment. Anaya said, "There has been support and there have been some harassment as well...There have been a few cricketers who randomly sent me nude pictures of them." Not only that, she added that there was a senior player who wanted her to be physical in his car, while she approached him for some issues. She added, "The person used to give gaalis in front of everybody. The same person then used to come and sit beside me and ask for my photos. There was another instance, when I was in India, I told a puraane (veteran) cricketer about my situation. He told me let's go in the car, I want to sleep with you." Anaya's desperation to mask her identity Anaya Banagar has shared cricket fields with many of the present-day national team players. Previously, a Mumbaikar cricketer, she was once a teammate of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan and his brother Musheer Khan. Anaya revealed her struggles on hiding her identity during her playing days as Aryan. Anaya said, "I played with some well known cricketers now like Musheer Khan, Sarfaraz Khan, Yashasvi Jaiswal. I had to maintain secrecy about myself because dad is a well known figure. Cricket world is filled with insecurity and toxic masculinity." With this coming in front, the cricketing fraternity indeed looks like a dark world. Not a long time back, when an influencer, Seema Kanyal, claimed that some leg spinner has been texting her every two hours. Well, neither of them mentioned the cricketers' names. Notably, Sanjay Bangar began his coaching career with Kochi Tuskers in 2010 and later became Kings XI Punjab's head coach in 2014. He served as India's batting coach from 2014 to 2019, contributing to the growth of players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Under his coaching, India achieved numerous records, including 150 centuries. After his contract ended in 2019, he became head coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2021 and later joined Punjab Kings as Head of Cricket Development in 2023.
