Team India is playing against Australia in the first semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium (DISC). Their star opener Shubman Gill has bagged a partnership deal with the iconic tyre manufacturing brand MRF, where he will be seen representing their iconic logo on his bat from now onwards. This will mark the first occasion for the 25-year-old opener that will commence their new journey with a new brand. Earlier to this Gill used to put CEAT tyres stickers on his bat. Vijay Tagore, a journalist who works for Cricbuzz, reported that the official deal between Shubman Gill and MRF has already been finalised on March 4. MRF, a tyre manufacturing company has grown due to its partnership with some legendary and famous cricketers in India and around the world. It is worth mentioning that apart from two global icons Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, MRF had also sponsored Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Gautam Gambhir, Prithvi Shaw and Sanju Samson in the past. Some of the iconic big names that were associated with MRF were Brian Lara, AB de Villiers and Steve Waugh. Shubman Gill is the newest addition to their list of athletes who endorse the company.
