Punjab Kings (PBKS) have begun IPL 2025 on a high with two back-to-back victories. Having beaten Gujarat Titans in their opening match, they thoroughly dominated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their second. This victory came as a powerful reply to LSG skipper Rishabh Pant, whose comment on PBKS following the auction had been widely noticed. Post Punjab's commanding victory over LSG in Lucknow, PBKS quoted Pant's own words to mock him. On their official X (Twitter) handle, Punjab Kings shared a video of their skipper Shreyas Iyer with the following caption: "Tension toh auction mein hi khatam ho gayi thi!" ššš§š¬š¢šØš§ toh auction mein hi khatam ho gayi thi! š pic.twitter.com/TnWcg5MxdM — Punjab Kings (@PunjabKingsIPL) April 1, 2025 This was an explicit mention of Pant's previous statement.
