Episodes of requests to the owner that either may get the ball back successfully or a contradictory episode of collecting pennies to buy a new one. Even at times, the road-turned-pitch may get altered after some aggressive complaints from the owners. This time, the incident was almost the same, but the aftermath was worrisome. The incident happened in Karnataka’s Bagalkot district two days before, on May 13. Just because the owner denied returning the ball that went to his premises, a 21-year-old man stabbed him. Pavan Jadhav, the accused, asked the teacher to return the ball, but the latter denied it, claiming that the ball has entered his territory. Both them got engaged in a verbal dispute, which then turned into bloodshed as Jadav stabbed the teacher with broken pieces of a bottle and a knife. It was no doubt a shocking move, however, the accused ran away from the place after committing the crime. The shocking incident left a school teacher with multiple facial injuries after a brutal assault. He was quickly taken to a private hospital, where he received urgent medical treatment. The entire episode was captured on CCTV, and the disturbing visuals have since gone viral, sparking widespread outrage and concern among the public. Acting swiftly, local police used the footage to identify and apprehend the attacker, who was later confirmed as Jadhav. The incident has not only raised questions about safety within educational institutions but has also reignited discussions around the rising aggression seen in today’s youth.
