Former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal was rushed to the hospital after experiencing chest pain during a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match between Mohammedan Sporting Club and Shinepukur Cricket Club, as reported by ESPNCricinfo. Tamim Iqbal, who is the captain of Mohammedan Sporting Club, had to rush to the hospital, shortly after the toss. Initially, a helicopter was arranged to transport Tamim to the hospital, but he could not be flown from the BKSP ground in Savar. According to reports, Match referee Debabrata Paul had confirmed that the cricketer was later taken to Fazilatunnesa Hospital, located around 15 kilometres from the stadium, for further evaluation and medical attention. Tamim Iqbal continues to play domestic cricket after international retirement Tamim Iqbal announced his international retirement in January this year, but the veteran cricketer remains active in domestic cricket.
