Speaking to the broadcasters after the match, Rickelton expressed his admiration for Yadav’s remarkable performance. "I just said to Quinny when he walked past that he (Suryakumar) is a joke. Stuff that I can only dream of. He has played that shot a million times – it is a unique shot and definitely not going to try it anytime soon, but glad he is on our team," Rickelton said. 'IPL is a different beast on its own' Ryan Rickelton, who is playing his first IPL season, also spoke about his experience of playing the cash-rich league. "The IPL is a different beast on its own, so to mentally work my head around that is a bit of a different one for me… Luckily, I've got a few familiar faces around," he said. As a newcomer to the IPL, Rickelton also spoke about the pressure of opening the batting for the Mumbai Indians alongside Rohit Sharma, and the message from Hardik Pandya before the match. "Opening the batting for Mumbai Indians with Rohit Sharma, there's always going to be pressure internally and obviously externally as well. Hardik was emphasising today, 'Raise intensity, this is our home ground.' We needed to be better and obviously we couldn't be zero [wins] from three," Rickelton added. Following their victory, Mumbai Indians, who have climbed from 10th to 6th in the points table, will be back in action on April 4 when they face Lucknow Super Giants.
