It has attracted a lot of audiences for the domestic leagues such as the Ranji Trophy because of the mandate for international cricketers to play domestic cricket. The domestic tournament will now be going into the quarter-finals which will be played from February 08 and there will be some big international superstars. The defending champions, Mumbai, will see some big stars in their line-up for the quarter-finals, where they will face Haryana at Rohtak. Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube, who are currently busy with national duties for the ongoing series against England, will return to the domestic set-up after the fifth and final T20I to feature for the Mumbai side in the all-important quarter-final fixture. The Mumbai Cricket Association confirmed through a well-placed source that the duo would be available for the game. According to Indian Express, the selection committee would pick the squad for the match shortly. “Yadav and Dube have informed us that they are available for the quarter-finals. The selection committee will meet soon and pick a squad for the same,” the source said. Surely, Suryakumar Yadav is among the best T20 batters for Indian cricket, but there he is, also the current T20I captain. However, while Dube was the Player of the Match in the fourth T20I versus England, it was in Pune, Yadav has had an underwhelming series so far which he will want to forget and getting some runs in the domestic scene can bring back some confidence.
