Team India is set to return to cricket action after 45 days, against Bangladesh in the first of two Tests at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on September 19. Rohit Sharma is to lead the side and Jasprit Bumrah will be a key player on the team as the main fast bowler. Former India player and legend, Suresh Raina has pointed out a player in the India squad that everyone will be watching, and it's not Rohit or Bumrah. Talking to IANS, Suresh Raina praised the efforts of Rohit Sharma as a great captain but feels that the spotlight will be on Virat Kohli who will be returning to Test cricket after 8 months. He also feels Virat Kohli will score many runs in the upcoming 10 matches left for India. “Rohit is a fantastic captain and he proved it when the Indian team lifted the T20 World Cup Trophy. But the focus will be on Virat Kohli’s return to Red-ball cricket. He loves Test matches and gives a lot of respect to them. Leading to the WTC, India will play around 10 matches and I believe Virat will score a hell lot of runs in this Test cycle,” Also Read | Watch- ‘You've Had More Altercations’: Gautam Gambhir Teases Virat Kohli Before IND vs BAN Test Suresh Raina mentioned that Virat Kohli performs well under pressure and will be the main focus for the rest of the WTC cycle. “Virat thrives under pressure, and this whole Test season will see him at the centre of action. Bangladesh has strong pacers, but Kohli has shown his prowess against bowlers like Haris Rauf. Challenges boost him, and I expect him to shine,” The players find it pretty tough to get back into form right after a month-long break. Rohit is aware of this and realizes that it would not be easy to dive back into Test cricket immediately. However, he's confident because the team has handled similar situations pretty well in the past and found success. After playing Bangladesh, India will host New Zealand for three Tests and then go to Australia for the exciting five-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy series.
