Sunil Narine has been a talisman in the IPL right since making his debut in the league back in 2012. Bought for $700,000 in the 2012 auction by KKR, Narine has been one of the mainstays for the team and has been part of every season since then including two title wins in 2012 and 2014 both under Gautam Gambhir. Narine has an impeccable record with the ball and has 181 wickets in IPL in 179 matches in his IPL career so far, all for the Knight Riders. Not only that, Narine has been a force with the bat at the top of the order with hit raw hitting power against the new ball, a move used by Gautam Gambhir during their championship winning run in 2014. Playing his 180th game for KKR against SRH today, Narine added yet another feather to his cap as he achieved a feat that only one bowler has been able to achieve in the history of the T20 game. 200 wickets in the KKR jersey Narine dismissed Kamindu Mendis, the Sri Lankan left-hander in the 10th over of the SRH innings and by doing so he completed 200 wickets for KKR taking his IPL tally up to 182 to go with 18 CLT20 wickets for KKR. Only Samit Patel has more wickets in T20 for a team with 208 wickets to his name for the English county Nottinghamshire. In IPL, Sri Lankan stalwart Lasith Malinga has 195 wickets for Mumbai Indians and is the closest to Narine. Also Read | Kamindu Mendis - The man who bowls with both hands!
