Recently, during the Duleep Trophy match between India A and India D, Shreyas Iyer left everyone in shock as he came out to bat with sunglasses on, which is quite uncanny in cricket. This choice brought a lot of attention online as the fans teased Iyer for putting on sunglasses and not getting runs. It was a pretty dicey start for India A, batting first, before Shams Mulani came to the rescue with 89 runs off 187 balls. The tailender, Tanush Kotian also scored a half-century and India A got bowled out for 290 runs early Day 2. When India D came out to bat, opener Atharva Taide fell early, and Shreyas Iyer came in next. Against the bright sunlight, Iyer sported sunglasses while batting. Only seven balls later, he was out bowled by Khaleel Ahmed for a duck. The fans went promptly at his mocking on the social media about how the stylish look of Shreyas Iyer didn't match his runs. He was left out of India's 16-member squad which is going to take part in the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh. At the start of the year, he was dropped from England Tests owing to disciplinary reasons and even lost his central contract. His struggles to make it back into the Test team remain, and performances to this effect in domestic games are only going to make life tougher for him in times to come. Following Iyer's wicket, India D found itself reeling at 6/2 with Devdutt Padikkal and Yash Dubey trying to repair the damage. Also Read | Top 10 Richest Cricketers in India | Know Who Tops the List
