Following the defeat in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, the Board of Cricket Council in India is likely to restrict families for Indian players. According to a report in India Today, BCCI may cut short family time for cricketers, ensuring the wives and girlfriends of the players do not accompany them for a tour lasting more than a month. Instead, they are only permitted to travel with the players for a maximum of two weeks. According to the sources, BCCI has also made sure that all players are necessarily availing of the same team bus and are paying extra for extra luggage. Reportedly, the Indian star duo Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have been traveling to different places in Australia with their wives. Not only that, there are reports that the team celebrated individually after Perth's win.
