Australia on Tuesday revealed their 15-member ODI squad for the three-match home series against India beginning October 19. The selection saw the return of left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc, who had missed the South Africa series due to workload management ahead of the Ashes. Starc’s inclusion strengthens the fast-bowling unit in Cummins’ absence. Mitchell Marsh will captain the side as Pat Cummins continues his rehabilitation from injury. The squad also includes Mitchell Owen, Matthew Renshaw, and Matthew Short, all making a return to the limited-overs setup. Renshaw, the left-handed batter, earns his first ODI call-up since 2022 following prolific performances for Australia A and Queensland. Wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey will miss the opening ODI in Perth due to Sheffield Shield commitments.
