The Sri Lanka Cricket, aka SLC, on Friday announced the squads for their upcoming tour of Pakistan that comprises a three-match ODI series and a T20I tri-series also involving Zimbabwe. While the ODI series is starting on November 11 in Rawalpindi, the T20 tri-series will begin on November 17 at the same venue. But the team has suffered a major blow with star pacer Dilshan Madhushanka being ruled out owing to a knee injury. Madhushanka Ruled Out, Malinga Steps In Madhushanka, who has been integral to Sri Lanka's pace attack, has failed to recover on time from his injury. As his replacement, Eshan Malinga finds a place in the ODI squad alongside him, while Lahiru Udara, Kamil Mishara, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Pramod Madushan are brought in as additions to reinforce the side. Asitha Fernando has been called up as his replacement. Sri Lanka has also made four other changes to their T20 lineup that exited early in the Asia Cup. Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Janith Liyanage, Dushan Hemantha, and Eshan Malinga come in for Nuwanidu Fernando, Dunith Wellalage, Chamika Karunaratne, and Binura Fernando.
