Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) on Thursday in the 33rd match of IPL 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The encounter is likely to be thrilling as both sides attempt to better their standing in the points table. SRH to Use Ishan Kishan's Experience at Wankhede SRH head coach Daniel Vettori expressed that the team will try to utilize Ishan Kishan's familiarity at the Wankhede Stadium. Kishan, a former Mumbai Indians player who played for the franchise for seven seasons (2018-2024), is familiar with the pitch and conditions, which may prove helpful for SRH in this crucial match. Vettori said: "It would be foolish not to tap into some of that knowledge and understanding around the Mumbai mentality and how they deal with certain situations, and also understanding the surface, how it plays, the dew factor, all those little things. “He has a wealth of knowledge for me and the rest of the coaches for this time, but mainly because he’s a fantastic player." Travis Head also performed well scoring 66 runs off 37 balls. It was SRH's second victory for the season, yet they are placed above Chennai Super Kings in the points table on the basis of higher Net Run Rate (NRR). SRH has so far defeated Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings but were defeated by LSG, DC, KKR, and GT. Mumbai Indians' Struggle for Consistency Mumbai Indians too have struggled this season. They won just two out of their six matches. Mumbai Indians kicked off their campaign with defeats at the hands of Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. Their first victory was against Kolkata Knight Riders on their home turf. But again, they lost to LSG and RCB before defeating DC in Delhi. Both SRH and MI will go all in to secure a second win in this game and build some momentum for the remaining matches of the ongoing IPL 2025.
