Indian all-rounder Nitish Reddy, who has been representing Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League, is likely to join his squad after clearing all the necessary fitness tests. Reddy was suffering from a side stain after he returned from the Border Gavaskar Trophy and was ruled out afterfeaturing in the first match of the 5-match T-20I series against England. According to PTI, Nitish has cleared all fitness assessments, including the yo-yo test, at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. The physios have deemed him fit and granted approval to play. SRH retained Nitish for INR 6 crore as an uncapped player after the rookie smashed 303 runs down the order in 13 matches with a strike rate of 143. After the retension process was done, he debuted for India, and had a phenomenal Australia tour despite India suffering a 1-3 defeat. This guy had been a regular source of runs in the lower order with his aggressive forties and fifties. Not only that, he has a gritty 114-run innings in Melbourne, saving an insulting crumle of the Indian batting to the Aussies.
