Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have resolved their conflict regarding IPL 2025 tickets. Previously, SRH had warned that they would approach the BCCI with the matter and even move their home games out of Hyderabad. But after negotiations, the two reached a settlement. HCA will get 3,900 free tickets per match, according to the current agreement. SRH vs HCA: What Was the Issue? The rift started when SRH charged that HCA President Jagan Mohan Rao unjustly asked for additional tickets. SRH alleged that he sealed a corporate box in the stadium and wouldn't open it until the franchise delivered 20 complimentary tickets. A few HCA officials even reportedly threatened to suspend water and power supply to the stadium if they didn't receive what they asked for. SRH was serious about this issue and threatened to complain to the BCCI. They also planned to shift their home matches to another city if the problem wasn't solved. To resolve the matter, HCA Secretary R. Devraj sat down with SRH representatives at the stadium. Following a thorough discussion, both parties agreed to adhere to the initial agreement, which dictates that HCA will receive 10% of the stadium capacity as free tickets. A final telephonic conversation with SRH CEO Mr. Shanmugam reiterated that both parties were content with the solution. The deal makes sure that SRH will still be playing their home games in Hyderabad without any issues. The issue even attracted Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He instructed an investigation into the claims of SRH against HCA. With the matter now resolved, SRH will be able to concentrate on their IPL 2025 season, while Hyderabad fans are free to watch the games at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium without a hitch.
