Delhi Capitals still have an outside chance, while LSG are on the verge of elimination, and SRH are already out of the race. Notably, Rabada’s absence could dent GT’s death-bowling options, while Jansen’s early exit could affect PBKS’ balance. “The initial agreement with IPL-BCCI was, with the final being on the 25th, our players would return on the 26th, so that it allows them ample time before we fly out on the 30th,” South Africa head coach Shukri Conrad said. He also made it clear that the CSA want the players back on the 26th. “That is the ongoing conversations that are being had between people in a higher play grade than I am – the director of cricket (Nkwe) and Pholetsi (Moselki, the CEO of CSA). They're dealing with that. We want our players back on the 26th and hopefully that comes to fruition.” Proteas name balanced squad for WTC Final against Australia As CSA continues discussions with the BCCI, focus has also turned to South Africa’s 15-man squad for the ICC World Test Championship Final, set to be held from June 11 to 15 at Lord’s. Kyle Verreynne will take over wicketkeeping duties. “Firstly, I want to congratulate each of the players selected for this squad. It is a special moment for this group to contest the WTC Final.
