The South African cricket squad made their way back home to a warm welcome at OR Tambo International Airport after their historic victory in the World Test Championship (WTC) Final 2025 over Australia. It was a national moment of pride, as the crowd arrived early to receive the team that won South Africa's maiden Test championship title. Cheers erupted as captain Temba Bavuma came out of the airport waving the WTC trophy high in the air, an elated look on his face. His team members trailed behind him, some covered in South African flags, others taking photos of the euphoric moment on their phones. Support staffs were even spotted affectionately hugging one another, marking the celebratory moment with smiles and laughter.
