South Africa is all set to play a T20I Tri-series against New Zealand and Zimbabwe starting from July 14 to 26 in Harare. They have announced a 14-member squad for the tournament, bringing some new faces and handing the leadership duties to their premier batter, Rassie van der Dussen, with a new squad and new coaching staff. The Proteas are without full-time captain Aiden Markram, Ryan Rickelton, Tristan Stubbs, David Miller, Marco Jansen, Kagiso Rabada, and Keshav Maharaj for this series. Except for Maharaj, who will be leading the side in the Test series, all other players have been given rest. Two South African bowlers, Anrich Nortje and Tabraiz Shamsi, who are not in the central contract of CSA (Cricket South Africa), won’t feature in the series, while Heinrich Klaasen has already retired from international cricket.
