The Indian batter Smriti Mandhana's brother, Shravan Mandhana, has refuted all marriage claims, citing that no revised date has been announced. Notably, Smriti Mandhana and music composer palash Muchhal were supposed to get married on November 23. However, the marriage was postponed for an indefinite period due to medical emergencies. Later on social media, several dates surfaced, saying that the duo can get married on December 7. On being asked about that, Shravan confirmed that no such dates have been announced. Speaking to the Hindustan Times, he said "I have no idea about these rumours. As of now, it (the wedding) is still postponed." Palash Muchhal's mother hopeful for marriage Earlier, Palash Muchhal's mother, Anita Muchhal claimed that the marriage will happen soon. She even said that she had prepared a grand welcome for Smriti and Palash. But the duo are currently in pain. Speaking to Hindustan Times, she said, "Smriti and Palash dono takleef mein hain... Palash dreamt of coming home with his bride. I had even planned a special welcome... Everything will be fine, shaadi bohot jaldi hogi." Notably, the duo was supposed to get married on November 23. Palash was seen at a major event accompanying Smriti. He was with her after she led Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their first WPL trophy in 2024. HE was even there with her after India won their 2025 Women's ODI World Cup. Palash Muchhal had posted a proposal video where he was seen proposing to Mandhana on his knees at the DY Patil Stadium. The duo had posted a lot of marriage event photos. Smriti's close friends Jemimah Rodrigues, Radha Yadav and others posted several marriage-related posts. However, the marriage got postponed on the morning of the marriage, after Smriti's father, Shrinivas Mandhana, suffered a heart attack. This was given as the official reason behind the indefinite postponement. Soon, Muchhal got admitted to the hospital too, and Mandhana and her friends deleted the marriage-related photos from her Insta account. Only a few casual photos are available on her Instagram. Cheating rumors surfaced on the internet, but none spoke a word on it. Even though palash was seen in public later, Smriti was nowhere. Not only that, but later, the duo added the "blue eye" nazar symbol in their Insta bio. Recently jemy skipped her WBL contract, wishing to stay with Smriti in the later's tough time.
