Rodrigues Steps Up with Match-winning Knock India lost Shafali Verma early for just 9 runs, but Jemimah Rodrigues joined Mandhana and brought the innings back on track. The pair added an impressive 54 runs for the second wicket to set a solid foundation for India. Mandhana fell after her landmark moment, but Rodrigues kept going and finished with an unbeaten 69 off 44 balls. Her knock had an impressive tenor of 10 boundaries at a strike rate of 156.82, and for an innings as brilliant as that, Rodrigues was named as the Player of the Match. Harmanpreet and Rodrigues Seal it After Mandhana's dismissal, the captain Harmanpreet Kaur made good of the support to Rodrigues and added another 55 runs for the third wicket in just 39 balls. Harmanpreet on the other end remained motoring along with the score, being unbeaten on 15 off 16 balls. Their calm partnership ensured safe chase for India and control of the match till the end.
