An Army officer was seen playing cricket in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, and the video went viral, winning hearts. The army was seen wearing his regiment's uniform, having 44 on his shoulder. He seems to be an officer from the Rashtriya Rifles (RR), an unit engaged in counter-insurgency missions in the area, while facing a rapid delivery on an improvised pitch. The video went viral within minutes and attracted massive praise as the youth were seen blending with the army. A Kashmir resident shared the video and appreciated the youths for finally recognizing the army's contribution. She wrote, "The Indian Army in Shopian Kashmir, playing cricket with the locals! The bonhomie between the Awaam and the Jawan is strengthening in Kashmir! These scenes were once unimaginable but now the youth understand their contribution in empowering them!"
