Captain of Gujarat Titans, Shubman Gill, seemed to have taken a sly jibe at Virat Kohli and RCB after his team rather convincingly thrashed the opposition by 8 wickets on Wednesday. Rajat Patidar and his men lost like never before at their home ground - M Chinnaswamy Stadium - marking their very first defeat in IPL 2025. As all eyes were on RCB and Kohli in Bengaluru, GT let their performance do the talking and quieted the crowd. Gill shared the picture from GT'S win on social networking site X, captioning it, "Eyes on the game, not the noise." His post sounded quite pointedly at the crazy RCB fans, showing how the home team was otherwise mercilessly defeated on their turf. Yet all that was silenced by Gill's and team's great performances. Buttler, Sudharsan, and Siraj built the Titans' loud victory. Gill could only score 14 runs off 14 balls before being dismissed, but GT was still going strong. Close to half a century with the likes of Jos Buttler and Sai Sudharsan build the innings for a comfortable win. Sherfane Rutherford came in through underneath the breeze to take the game away after the fire-spitting spell of Siraj, earlier in the match. RCB's top-order experienced a fall in quick succession, as Siraj pulverized Phil Salt and Devdutt Padikkal for 14 and just 4 runs. Virat Kohli too had a subdued match, scoring just 11 runs before he perished to Arshad Khan. Such, indeed, was the target deemed inadequate against a resilient side from Gujarat Titans.
