The talk of cricket circles is the fast bowler from Bangladesh Shoriful Islam's declaration that Jasprit Bumrah is the greatest fast bowler of all time. The left-arm seamer made the remarks in a fun challenge conducted by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on social media. In the video challenge the great fast bowlers from various generations were made to compete against each other. Shoriful was asked to pick his favorite from a pair of fast bowlers continuously finally culminating in Bumrah being placed above several legends. The comment has become a hot topic on social media and cricket fans are all taking notice of Shoriful's audacious claim. Bumrah has established himself as one of the greatest modern-day fast bowlers and has led India to victories across formats. Bumrah defeats several pace legends. The challenges began with legendary Sri Lankan bowler Lasith Malinga compared against Bangladesh star Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful immediately picked Malinga. The left-arm legend was then up against Mitchell Starc and Shoriful picked the Australian left-arm quick. Shoriful continued picking Starc over legendary fast bowlers such as Brett Lee, Trent Boult and Kagiso Rabada. The next surprise came when Starc was up against James Anderson. Even after Starc's achievements over different formats, Shoriful went for Anderson. Shoriful then picked Anderson over Australian captain Pat Cummins. The most shocking comparison that came was between legend Wasim Akram and Anderson. Shoriful went with the Pakistani left-arm quick, who is widely regarded as one of the best fast bowlers to have ever played the sport. However, when Akram was placed against Jasprit Bumrah, the Bangladeshi fast bowler selected the Indian. Bumrah remained undisputed from that point onward as he remained at the top, beating legends such as Dale Steyn, Shoaib Akhtar and Waqar Younis.
