The latest report by World Cricketers Association has put The Hundred of England in the top spot, followed by SA20 of South Africa. The Hundred was awarded 75.2 points and SA20 with 68 points while the IPL secured third place with 62.6 points in the ranking of 10 prominent domestic leagues. The IPL's Ranking: Player Rights and Rules The IPL gained highest points in average payment and payment security categories. Players receive adequate remuneration and there are no payment issues in IPL. The report highlighted a few areas which pulled down the ranking of IPL. The IPL failed in terms of "right to organise" and dispute resolution areas which pertain to the level of freedom granted to the players and ways of settling differences between the players and their respective teams. Tom Moffat, the Chief Executive of WCA, mentioned that there was a scope of development in player management. He said: "The growth of the domestic leagues landscape has been overwhelmingly positive for our sport, but it has the potential to be even better. Last month, Mustafizur Rahman was dropped from the Kolkata Knight Riders line up citing the political issues. Also, the rule where all contracted Indian players are restricted to play for other franchised leagues across the globe faced flak.
