The former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has finally broken his silence on the ongoing rumors after he married his longtime girlfriend, Sophie Shine. This has been his second marriage after a hectic first marriage with the Australia-based kickboxer Ayesha Mukherji. However, after his marriage with Shine, several social media posts started spreading rumors. On February 24, Dhawan addressed all the fabricated claims, stating that his marriage with Shine is pure and has nothing to do with past experiences. Calling all the claims "disappointing," he issued a public statement on his Instagram Story saying, "I have come across some posts on social media attributing a disappointing statement about my personal life. I have never carried baggage from the past, be it on the pitch or outside. I firmly believe in the power of positivity while respecting my past." It further said, "This is a new chapter in my life, and I feel truly grateful for the love and blessings I have received from my fans, friends, family, well-wishers and media. I strongly urge people not to breed off my name with clickbait, insensitive and false statements on social media. Let’s spread love and positivity."
