Jackson made his List A debut against Baroda in 2006 during the Ranji One-day Trophy at the Moti Bagh Stadium, Vadodara. He went on to play 86 50-over matches for his state team and scored 2792 runs at an average of 36.25, including 14 half-centuries and nine centuries as well. Playing as a wicketkeeper-batter, he has some other records to his name as well. Jackson has also grabbed 51 dismissals in the format, which includes 42 catches and nine stumpings. Jackson has also participated in 84 matches of T20s where he amassed 1812 runs to his career. He also has 11 half-centuries and one century to his name in the shortest format of this game. Jackson has also represented Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 9 IPL games. The Saurashtra batter last played his white-ball game against Punjab in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) where he scored just 13 runs from 10 balls. Jackson will continue to play the red-ball format for his team, speaking of his number in the longer format then he has scored 7187 runs in 103 matches at a phenomenal average of 46.36 including 21 centuries and 39 half-centuries to his name.
