Pakistan's ace fast bowler Shaheen Afridi impressed everyone in a champions cup match between the Lions and the Stallions in Faisalabad last night. Usually considered a fast bowler, Shaheen sent his teammate Abrar Ahmed into a shock with a massive six. It all happened in the 37th over where the Lions were 185 for eight, chasing a huge target of 337 runs. The team close to a loss, Shaheen Afridi had no choice but to go for big shot. He went after the top spinner of Stallions, Abrar Ahmed, with a straight six down the ground. Abrar had managed four dot balls on the trot, but the fifth ball was whisked away over the ground by Shaheen to see Lions cross the 190-run mark. Bowling from round the wicket, Abrar pitched a full-length ball wide outside off stump to give Shaheen sufficient width to swing his bat freely. The tall fast bowler used his length to send the ball sailing into the stands at long-on for an exquisite six. Watch Video: A Shaheen Shah Afridi SIX. Imam-ul-Haq scored the most runs for them, with Sharoon Siraj chipping in with 28. Earlier, the Stallions brought up a mammoth total on the board, courtesy of half-centuries from Babar Azam, Tayyab Tahir and an aggressive knock from captain Mohammad Haris. Babar Azam got out in the 35th over while trying to hit a bouncer from Afridi over the fine-leg boundary.
