Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has surpassed South Africa's Keshav Maharaj, becoming the number 1 ODI bowler as per the recently released ICC ODI Bowlers Ranking. Afridi had a great out against Australia, becoming the second-highest wicket-taker, bagging eight wickets at an average of 12.62 and an economy of 3.76.. Afridi went three spots upwards in the table, having 696 ratings, leading the ODI bowlers. South Africa's Keshav Maharaj, on the other hand, slipped three spots, coming to third with 674. During the ODI World Cup 2023, Afridi was given the top spot in the middle of the tournament. Pakistan Cricket is really dominating; at least thats what the ranking says. Earlier, Babar Azam had been dominating the batting rankings with 825 ratings, and now Shaheen, in the ODI bowling.
