Shaheen Shah Afridi was among the various Pakistan cricketers who were seen praying for Rashid Khan's recently deceased brother Haji Abdul Halim Shinwari. The Pakistani cricketers celebrated their 39-run victory over Afghanistan by taking a moment to offer condolences to Rashid as his brother recently died. Shinwari was famous for being a pillar of strength in Rashid's life. In a heart touching video going viral on social media, Shaheen and a group of other Pakistani cricketers prayed for the departed soul and hugged Rashid in the Afghanistan dressing room. There were numerous emotional messages written for Rashid and his family following his brother's death. Players like Ibrahim Zadran and Asghar Afghan of prayed in the midst of condolence for Rashid and his relatives. Afghanistan was bowled out for 143 in 19.5 overs. Rashid performed satisfactorily for a 16-ball 39-run score which included one four and five sixes. Rashid and Rahmanullah Gurbaz (38 off 27) were the only two players to reach above the 30-run score. Haris Rauf (4/31 in 3.5 overs) and Sufiyan Muqeem (2/25 in four overs) shone for the Salman Ali Agha-led team. Agha was named Player of the Match after an unbeaten half-century (53* off 36), with three fours and as many sixes, in the first innings. Rashid (1/26 in four overs) bowled very nicely.
