The Australia-based wicketkeeper batter Jos Inglis is likely to be ruled out of the Punjab Kings squad for the 2025 IPL. On Day 2, he had walked in as a substitute fielder and succumbed to the discomfort. As a result, Cricket Australia officially announced that he has been ruled out from the rest of the series, and thus, this added woes in the Punjab squad. Inglish was the only overseas keeper in the squad, having the other two keepers, Prabhsimran Singh and Vishnu Vinod, from India. Had Inglis been playing for PBKS, this would have been his first IPL.
