He said both the players are not in their prime form, so it is going to be tough against Australia. He also stated that youngsters like Shubman Gill and Jaiswal should take the responsibility to score runs in this marquee series in Australian conditions. He also said Rishabh Pant is the only batter from the Indian team who is in his prime form, especially in test cricket. Virat and Rohit, both are not in their prime, they are not at the peak of their powers to be fair and others like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill have to rise to the occasion. Rishabh Pant is the only one that I feel is in his prime and a very important player," Sanjay Manjrekar, who played 37 Test matches for India, said while speaking on SportifyWithPRG.’ However, Manjrekar also supported the Indian team by referring to them as'sorted' and pointing out that Australia aren't the same feared team they were in the past. "India is sorted. As for the Australians, the aura and ability they had in the past, where every game they played, they were like champions, is not there anymore," he said. Team India has dominated the Australian team from the last two series in their home soil; they have won two consecutive series in Australia. This time they will also look to repeat their brilliance; on the other Australia will also be looking to revenge the Indian team.
