Australia's young batting talent Sam Konstas is keen to face India's Jasprit Bumrah, who is having a prime time with the ball. Konstas looks like a promising talent for Australia and has scored a remarkable century of 107 runs from 97 balls in the warm-up pink ball match against India. However, Konstas did not face Bumrah as the bowler was rested during the warm-up match. Konstas was in all praise of Bumrah, calling him the best in the world. Apart from urging to face him, Konstas said that he is confident to break into the Australian team and face India's quality bowling. Speaking to WA Today, Konstas said, "I was watching quite a bit. Bumrah is a skilful player, obviously, and probably the best in the world. Hopefully, one day I can face him and see how we go. I feel confident [in my game]. I’ve been training really hard and it’s a great opportunity to play against the best players." He also added how the former Aussie captain Tim Paine has helped him on his approach for the 46-over warm-up game. "I’ve been practicing it a little bit with Tim Paine, but yeah, good to get a few away. Tim just told us to have good intent and put pressure on them and treat it like a 46-over game. So I was just trying to keep things simple and just trying to stick to my plans."
