A severe blow fell on Gujarat Titans (henceforth GT) with Sai Sudharsan being very young, having been injured due to a hamstring pull. The injury occurred during the Gujarat Titans (GT) versus Mumbai Indians (MI) match on March 29 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Sudharsan has been spectacular with the bat for GT. He opened the innings for the team, showing his rich vein of form by scoring a brilliant half-century. In four critical partnerships, he contributed significantly with scores of 78 with Shubman Gill, 51 with Jos Buttler, 17 with Shahrukh Khan, and 33 with Sherfane Rutherford. His innings ended in the 18th over when Mumbai Indians' ace left-arm pacer Trent Boult delivered an unplayable yorker. Sudharsan was out for 63 off 42 balls, striking 4 fours and 2 sixes. On the last ball, Sai Kishore bowled a full-blown-length ball to Suryakumar Yadav, who picked up the perfect line and played an exquisite sweep shot. The ball raced to the long-leg boundary, Sudharsan tried to stop it and just missed making a touch with it as it coiled to the border for a four. pic.twitter.com/t0yaHpVCux — Drizzyat12Kennyat8 (@45kennyat7PM) March 29, 2025 Also Read: Ambati Rayudu: 'Chennai Crowd Wants Dhoni to Bat, Literally Asking You to Get Out' This dive has caused Sudharsan to incur hamstring injury.
