The IND vs SA Test series is just three days away, and the hosts have already kicked off their preparations after returning from Australia. In what looked like an optional practice session, players like Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, Sai Sudharsan, Ravindra Jadeja, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Washington Sundar, and Nitish Kumar Reddy were spotted, according to RevSportz. Sai Sudharsan extends his net session The session began with coach Gautam Gambhir, who was joined by Sitanshu Kotak and Morne Morkel, taking a good look at the pitch for about 10 minutes. After that, Gambhir had a chat with curator Sujan Mukherjee. As they gear up for the first Test, India faces a big decision: should they go with Dhruv Jurel as a pure batter alongside Rishabh Pant, or stick with Sudharsan? Nothing was set in stone from this practice session, as Gill, Jaiswal, and Sudharsan made their way to the nets. In fact, Sai Su had an extended batting session at the center wicket, with Gambhir joining later to focus on the batter’s leg-side play. Meanwhile, Sundar and Jaddu bowled to Jaiswal on the adjacent wicket, as the report noted. After that, he bowled with a short run-up before heading back to the dressing room. He was seen with strapping on his right knee, but it didn’t seem to be a big deal, as he returned for some spot bowling with Morkel and Gambhir watching. He looked focused throughout the session, occasionally chatting with the support staff. His deliveries had good pace and control, indicating that the strapping was just a precaution and not something to worry about.
