Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar is all set for a comeback, as he gets ready to take the field in a six-nation tournament featuring cricketing legends from around the world. The International Masters League would be an annual T20 cricket tournament where stars from six cricket-playing nations-from India, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, England, and Sri Lanka-would converge for the game. The aim behind this tournament is to go down memory lane to recreate the old rivalry as some of the game's greatest players return to the battlefield. Tendulkar's return should attract millions of cricket fans who are eagerly waiting to see the Master Blaster in action. Cricketing legend and one of the greatest batsmen to have played for India, Sunil Gavaskar has been appointed as the League Commissioner. The League will be played in the cities of Mumbai, Lucknow, and Raipur. Sachin said about the competition that the one thing fans want to see is the classic rivalries in action, to witness the legends demonstrating their skills once more. He is famous for some stellar performances and has been considered, along with some other names, one of the greatest players of cricket. Sachin said that athletes never officially retire and always want to compete. In his opinion, the league would be a great avenue for legends to return to the ground to relive some of the best moments of their cricketing lives. He shared: “Sportspersons never retire at heart and the competitive streak within waits for an opportunity to get back on the field. We have conceived the International Masters League as a meeting point for passionate fans and competitive cricketers." He added: “I am certain all players participating will get back into the groove and prepare hard. When we represent our countries, we all want to play top-quality cricket and try to win.”
