Cricket South African President Cyril Ramaphosa was caught in a bizarre mix-up with the jersey while wishing good luck to the South African women's team. Before the 2nd November final between the Indian women and South African women in the 2025 Women's ODI World Cup, Ramaphosa posted a 5-minute-long motivational video. In the video he was heard saying, "There will be almost 40,000 Indians who support cricket, and you know how cricket mad they are. But they should not even begin to discourage you or to wear you down." However, there was a moment he tugged his shirt and proudly asked the fans and fellow countrypeople to buy the jersey and support the team. However, little did he know that he was wearing South Africa's football jersey. A video that was meant to motivate soon became a comic relief for the netizens. However, Ramaphosa was unfazed with whatever mix it was and continued his speech.
