India Test and ODI team captain Rohit Sharma's wife, Ritika Sajdeh, has revealed their new-born son's name after posting a story on her Instagram account. The story has a photo of four dolls, each named as Rits, Ro, Sammy, and Ahaan. It looks like Sammy, or rather Samaira, Rohit's first daughter, has written those names to the dolls. Notably, Rohit Sharma missed the first Test at Perth due to the birth of his second child, which is a boy. The boy was born on November 15, and the news was made public on November 16. Since then, the name was not known. But finally, it seems that the baby boy has been made public, and it is Ahaan. However, in the pre-departure press conference, Gambhir made clear that Jasprit Bumrah will lead the team in his absence. While few, like Sunil Gavaskar, minced at this decision, former Aussie captain Aaron Finch supported Rohit's decision. Rohit joined the team in the middle of the Perth Test and was seen practicing in the nets. KL Rahul, who opened with Yashasvi Jaiswal, looked in good touch, and thus Rohit seems to have demoted himself down the order in the ongoing pink-ball warm-up match at Canberra. After a 295-run emphatic win against Australia, India will play them at Adelaide on December 6 for the day-night Test match.
