Most fans were in shock after Rohit Sharma gifted his blue Lamborghini Urus to a fan. It was the same vehicle he used to drive in Mumbai. Its bright color and trendy design made it impossible to miss, and most people knew that it belonged to Rohit Sharma. So, when he handed over the keys, everyone asked – did he tire of the vehicle, or was he just being kind? The reality was uncovered when IPL 2025 took place. Rohit featured in a Dream11 fantasy game ad and uttered, "Build your Dream11 team on March 22 and have a chance to win my own car." The car being offered was actually the same blue Lamborghini Urus, carrying the same number plate, indicating it was not only a similar model, but Rohit's own car. The lucky winner got this car from Rohit Sharma and while handing it to the winner, Yuvraj Wagh, Rohit asked him to take car of the car. The Lamborghini Urus is a super-luxury SUV that was unveiled in 2017. It is available in two forms – Performante and SE. Both feature a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. The Performante takes 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and delivers 850Nm of torque. The SE variant, which is a hybrid, delivers even higher torque of 950Nm. The India price starts at approximately Rs 4.18 crore and goes up to over Rs 5 crore based on the state. The winner fan did not need to shell out money for this costly vehicle, courtesy of the Dream11 contest and Rohit's assurance. To boot, the number plate of the car had a unique number, 264, reminding fans of Rohit's record ODI score. Back in 2014, Rohit Sharma scored 264 runs in an ODI game against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens. This is still the highest ODI individual score. His score contained 33 fours and 9 sixes. It was his second double century, the first one being 209 against Australia in Bengaluru. He made a third double ton in 2017, remaining not out at 208* against Sri Lanka at Mohali. Rohit is the sole player with three double centuries in ODI cricket. Mumbai Indians Still in the Playoff Race Mumbai Indians got off to a tough start this season, but they returned in great form. Led by Hardik Pandya, they are now placed fourth on the IPL 2025 points table. Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Punjab Kings have already qualified for the Playoffs. It is now a battle between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals to secure the last spot. If MI beats DC on 21st May, they will make their way into the playoffs of IPL 2025.
