Aakash Chopra has suggested a minute tweak to India's batting order in the fourth Test of the 2024/25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Since the Brisbane Test concluded with a draw, this series remains tied at 1-1. The match will now be played in Melbourne in the Boxing Day Test that begins on December 26. Aakash gave that suggestion on his YouTube Channel saying: "Rohit can think of one thing if he wishes. Come at No. 3 and send Shubman down the order." In the video, Aakash was questioned that Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill must be replaced with youngsters like Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan. He replied saying it is highly improbable that they will make those changes in the Melbourne Test. Aakash said: “Nothing of that sort is going to happen and it shouldn’t happen as well. Will there be a change (to his place) – no. Can you leave out Rohit Sharma? Does anyone talk like that about the captain?. Though Aakash is standing by Rohit in all criticisms, he added that Shubman Gill needs to deliver when he plays abroad. He added: “I totally understand that it’s been 16 innings for Shubman Gill since he has scored a 40-plus score outside Asia. It’s been a while. You have a lot of expectations from him that he will score runs, and things will change."
