He became the first batter to reach 6000 runs for Mumbai Indians in total matches, such as the IPL and the Champions League T20. He had only 29 runs left to achieve the feat before the game. Rohit achieved the milestone with a sweep shot off Kumar Kartikeya. Rohit has played 231 games for MI now and has scored more than 6000 runs with two hundreds and 38 half-centuries. None of the other MI batters has even scored 4000 runs. Kieron Pollard has 3915 runs on the second spot, and Suryakumar Yadav is third with 3501 runs.
