Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant went to the JSW Center to meet Parth Jindal, the team co-owner, before the IPL 2025 retention announcement. Pant has been a top player for the team and became captain in 2021. This Indian wicketkeeper-batsman has had a busy schedule lately. After having featured in the Duleep Trophy 2024, he first fulfilled the Delhi Capitals duty and then joined Indian players in flight for the Test series against Bangladesh. The Indian Team, arriving on Friday, September 13, in Chennai included Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul among others. Rohit Sharma arrived separately while Virat Kohli came directly from London where he spent six months with the family. Teams of IPL are deciding on which player to retain and which one to release. Therefore, ahead of the submission of lists to the BCCI, Rishabh Pant visited the JSW Center BKC to meet the owners of the Delhi Capitals to collectively decide and finalize the players they want to retain. So, he made sure that he wrap up his IPL duties before his busy schedule commences. A viral video showed Pant at the JSW Center meeting DC co-owner Parth Jindal. There was speculation that Pant could leave the Delhi franchise after the removal of head coach Ricky Ponting. However, Pant's visit to the DC co-owner suggests these speculations are just rumors.
