Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant is confirmed to stay with the team for IPL 2025, according to Sourav Ganguly. Earlier reports suggested that the wicketkeeper-batter might be moving to CSK for the next season. Well, it seems that those were simply rumors. Pant looks certain to continue leading the Capitals. According to One India Bengali, Sourav Ganguly stated in an interview that Rishabh Pant will be retained by Delhi Capitals. Pant came back to lead DC in IPL 2024 after being out of contention for almost a year due to a serious car accident; however, the team had a poor season. In 2021, DC handed Rishabh Pant the captaincy. This wicketkeeper-batsman has not been able to take his team further in the past two seasons of the IPL. In IPL 2024, under Pant's captaincy, the Capitals could win only seven out of 14 matches, thereby ruling out their chances of entering the next stage. Also Read | Race For Orange Cap in IPL 2024?
